Disassembly

The Birfield joint is non-serviceable with the exception of boot replacement.

1. Disassemble and remove joint assembly from center shaft.
2. Remove boot clamps and slide boot towards inboard side of center shaft to remove.
3. Inspect all parts for abnormal wear, cracks and damage.
