BACKGROUND

In the 1998 and 1999 SLX Service Manuals, some of the information on cylinder head service, timing belt installation, camshaft gear timing, and valve adjustment is incomplete. For complete information, use this service bulletin along with the appropriate service manual and fuel & emissions manual.
