Radiator and Condenser Fan Circuit Troubleshooting B
1. Check for the No. 3 (7.5A) fuse in the driver's under dash fuse/relay box.
Is the relay OK?
YES - Go to step 2.
NO - Check for these problems:
- A short in the wire between the driver's under dash fuse/relay box and fan control module 8P connector terminal No. 2.
- A short in the wire between the driver's under dash fuse/relay box and fan control relay 4P socket terminal No. 5.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).





3. Measure the voltage between fan control module 8P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES - Go to step 4.
NO - Repair an open in the wire between the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and fan control module 8P connector terminal No. 2.
4. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
5. Disconnect the fan control module 8P connector.





6. Check for continuity between fan control module 8P connector terminal No. 4 and body ground.
Is there continuity?
YES - Replace the fan control module and if the radiator fan does not run, replace the fan itself.
NO - Repair an open in the wire between fan control module terminal No. 4 and G401.
