Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Valve Inspection

NOTE: Do not adjust the IMRC adjusting screw (C).




1. Check for the clearance (A) between the stop (B) and the screw (C). There should be no clearance.
- If there is clearance, check and adjust the IMRC actuator cable.
- If still there is still clearance after adjusting the IMRC actuator cable, the linkage may be stuck. Remove the intake manifold, then check the IMRC valve.
