Motor Test

Driver's Seat
1. Remove the driver's seat.







2. Disconnect the connector(s) from the adjustment switch (A).













3. Test each motor by applying battery voltage and body ground to the terminals.
4. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, check for an open in the power seat wire harness between the switch connector and the power seat motor 2P connector. If the harness is OK, replace the motor.

Passenger's Seat
1. Remove the front passenger's seat.




2. Disconnect the connector(s) from the adjustment switch (A).













3. Test each motor by applying battery voltage and body ground to the terminals.
4. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, check for an open in the power seat wire harness between the switch connector and the power seat motor 2P connector. If the harness is OK, replace the motor.
