TITLE: Poor AM Radio Reception

SERVICE TIP:

The '05 MDX AM/FM radio antenna is mounted in the rear glass, not on the roof as on earlier MDXs. The roof-mounted mast antenna on '05 MDXs has a different purpose now. On models with the navigation system, it's a short mast used just for XM satellite radio and OnStar. On models without the navigation system, it's a bump antenna used just for XM satellite radio.
