Navigation Module: Service and Repair
Navigation Unit Removal/InstallationNOTE:
- If possible, have the client record any personal information from the navigation system that will be lost.
- If the navigation unit is replaced or disconnected, a Map Match must be done.
1. Remove the DVD-ROM.
2. Remove the nuts, then pull out the navigation unit (A).
3. Disconnect the navigation unit connectors and remove the navigation unit.
4. Remove the screws from the navigation unit brackets (B).
5. Install the unit in the reverse order of removal.
6. Install the DVD-ROM, then enter the 4-digit security code.
7. Do the system initialization.
8. Give the new security code to the client.
9. If the factory diagnostic screen (In Line Diag) appears after you replace the unit, refer to system diagnostic mode. System Diagnostic Mode
