Center Console Disassembly/ReassemblySpecial Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program.
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.
- Take care not to scratch the center console and related parts.
1. Remove the center console.
2. Remove the center console armrest.
3. Pull out the center console rear trim (A) to detach the clips.
4. Remove the screw (A), then pull out the passenger's console (B) to detach the clips (C, D) and hooks (E), then remove it.
5. Remove the screws (A, B), then remove the armrest hinge (C) from the console box (D).
6. Detach the hooks (A) by pulling out the latch hole trim (B), then remove it.
7. Remove the screws (A, B), then pull out the driver's console (C) to detach the clips (D, E) and hooks (F), then remove it.
8. Remove the screws (A, B), then remove the center console rear bracket (C), center console driver's bracket (D) and center console bracket (E) away from the console box (F) as shown.
9. Assemble the console in the reverse order of removal.
10. If necessary, remove the audio pocket (A) from the dashboard.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Pull out the audio pocket, and disconnect the front accessory power socket connector (B), driver's seat heater switch connector (C) and front passenger's seat heater switch connector (D).
3. Remove the pocket by pushing it to the left.
11. Assemble the console in the reverse order of removal.
