Center Console

Center Console Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program.

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.
- Take care not to scratch the center console, dashboard, and related parts.




1. Detach the hooks (A) by pulling the AT gear position indicator cover (B) up.




2. Remove the driver's console trim (A) and passenger's console trim (B).
1. Detach the clips (C) by pulling up on the rear portion of the trim up.
2. Detach the clips (D) by pulling it up from the dashboard, then remove it.




3. Open the armrest (A), and detach the clips, then remove the center console panel (B) up.




4. Remove the screw (A) and clip (B), then pull out the driver's console cover (C) to detach the clips (D). Release the fastener (E) and hooks (F), then remove the cover.




5. Detach the clips and hooks (A) by pulling the passenger's console cover (B) out, and pull it backward to release the pin (C) from the passenger's dashboard undercover, then remove it.-




6. Remove the center console (A):
1. Disconnect the accessory power socket connector and console light connector.
2. Remove the bolts (B) of the console.
3. Lift the rear of the console, then detach the clips (C) by pulling the console backward to remove.

7. Install the center console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
