Dashboard Upper Dashboard Panel Removal/InstallationSpecial Tools Required
- KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
- Trim pad remover. Snap-on A 177A or equivalent, commercially available

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the dashboard, and related parts.
1. Remove these items:
- Center upper dashboard panel
- Right driver's dashboard panel
- Dashboard side trim, both sides
- Passenger's dashboard trim panel
- Center panel
- Instrument panel
- Gauge control module
2. Disconnect the front passenger's airbag 4P connector and three mounting nuts of the front passenger's airbag.
3. Remove the screws.
4. Detach the clips along the front edge of the upper dashboard panel (A). Gently pull up the panel to release the hooks from the dashboard (B).
5. If necessary, remove the front passenger's airbag from the upper dashboard pane.
6. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
