Advanced DiagnosticsDTC P0563: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Power Source Circuit Unexpected Voltage
General Description
If there is a short to ground in the harness between the powertrain control module (PCM) and PGM-FI main relay 1, PGM-FI main relay 1 stays ON even though the ignition switch is turned to LOCK (0), and the PCM remains active. However, the engine is not running because the power for the gauges, the ignition, and the fuel pump are turned OFF by the ignition switch. When the PCM operates for a set time after the ignition switch is turned to LOCK (0), a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored.

Diagnosis Details
Conditions for illuminating the indicator
When a malfunction is detected, the DTC and the freeze frame data are stored in the PCM memory. The MIL does not come on.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The DTC and the freeze frame data can be cleared by using the scan tool Clear command or by disconnecting the battery.
