Tailgate Release Actuator Test

1. Open the tailgate.

2. Remove the tailgate lower trim panel.

3. Disconnect the 2P connector from the tailgate latch.

4. Check actuator operation by momentarily connecting power to terminal No. 2 and ground to terminal No. 1 momentarily. The actuator should work.

5. If the actuator does not work, replace the tailgate latch. Service and Repair
