Power Mirror Actuator Test

1. Remove the door panel. Front Door Panel Removal/Installation

2. Disconnect the 8P (or 14P) connector (A) from the power mirror actuator (B).






3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.

4. If the mirror fails to work properly, replace the mirror actuator.






Defogger Test

5. Check for continuity between 8P [14] connector terminals No. 1*1 (6)*2 [9] and No. 4 [8]. These should be continuity.
[ ]: Right mirror

*1: '07 model left mirror

*2: '08-09 models left mirror

6. If the continuity is not as specified, check for:
- An open in the wire.

- A faulty mirror holder.
