Driver's Power Seat Motor Test
1. Remove the driver's seat.
- '09 model Front Seat Removal/Installation
2. Disconnect the connector from each power seat motor.
NOTE: All connectors are terminal side of male terminals.
'08 model
'09 model
3. Test each motor by connecting power and ground according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect battery power immediately.
4. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace:
- Slide motor ('09 model) Front Seat Frame Replacement - Driver's Seat
- Front up-down motor
- Rear up-down motor
NOTE:
- For recline motor, check for an open in the driver's seat subharness. If the harness is OK, replace the recline motor.
- If '09 model front and rear up-down motor, and recline motor are faulty, replace the seat frame assembly. Front Seat Frame Replacement - Driver's Seat
