Diagnostic Procedure:
1. Check the fuel pressure. Testing and Inspection
2. Check the turbocharger wastegate control solenoid valve. Testing and Inspection
3. Check the turbocharger wastegate control actuator control line.
4. Check the turbocharger wastegate control actuator. Description and Operation
5. Check the turbocharger boost control solenoid valve. Testing and Inspection
6. Check the turbocharger boost control actuator control line.
7. Check the turbocharger boost control actuator.
8. Check the turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve. Testing and Inspection
9. Check the turbocharger bypass control valve control line.
10. Check the turbocharger bypass control valve. Testing and Inspection
Also check for:
- Low compression
- Incorrect camshaft timing
- Incorrect engine oil level
- Turbocharger wastegate control actuator stuck open
- Turbocharger boost control actuator stuck open
- Turbocharger bypass control valve stuck closed
- Turbocharger bypass control valve stuck open
