Transfer Breather Hose Replacement
1. Raise the vehicle on a lift, and make sure it is securely supported.
2. Remove the transfer breather (A) from its bracket (B), and disconnect the breather hose (C) from the breather.
3. Remove the breather hose (D) from the hose clip (E), and disconnect it from the breather.
4. Remove the breather hose (A) from the hose clamp (B) (located near the ATF filler plug).
5. Disconnect the breather hose (A) from the transfer breather pipe (B), and remove the breather hose from the hose clips (C).
6. Install the breather hose over the breather pipe with the dot (D) facing toward the rear.
7. Align the other dots (E) with the clips, then push the hose into the clips. Make sure the dots face out.
8. Connect the breather hoses over the pipes of the breather with facing the dot up, and install the breather on its bracket. Install the hose end at the dot in the clip.
