Cylinder Head Cover Removal

1. Remove the charge air cooler Service and Repair.

2. Remove the fuel injector cover.






3. Remove the four ignition coils Service and Repair.

4. Remove the power steering hose bracket (A), the breather hose (B), and the dipstick (C).





5. Remove the bracket mounting bolts (D) from the cylinder head cover.

6. Disconnect the rocker arm oil control solenoid connector (A), the rocker arm oil pressure switch connector (B), and the VTC oil control solenoid valve connector (C), then remove the harness clamp (D).






7. Disconnect the A/F sensor connector (A), the oil pressure switch connector (B), and the CKP sensor connector (C), then remove the harness clamps (D).






8. Remove the cylinder head cover.
