DTC Troubleshooting: U0029

DTC U0029:

F-CAN Communication bus line error (BUS-OFF)

1. Connect the HDS to the DLC.

2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).

4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC U0029 indicated?

YES -

Replace the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) AcuraLink Control Unit (XM Receiver) Removal/Installation.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) is OK at this time.�
