Adaptive cruise control (ACC) activation indicator (green) does not go off

1. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Is the gauge control module OK?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Substitute a known-good gauge control module, and recheck. If the problem goes away, replace the original gauge control module Service and Repair.�

2. Remove the driver's airbag Driver's Airbag Replacement.

3. Disconnect the 20P connector (A) from the cable reel.






4. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), then wait for 10 seconds.

5. Watch the ACC activation indicator.

Does the ACC activation indicator go off?

YES -

Test the adaptive cruise control (ACC) combination switch Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Combination Switch Test.�

NO -

Repair a short to ground in the wire between the adaptive cruise control (ACC) combination switch and the gauge control module.�
