Driver's Power Seat Motor Test

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Remove the driver's seat Front Seat Removal / Installation.

2. Remove the back cover for recline motor Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the connector from each power seat motor.

NOTE: All connectors are terminal side of male terminals.










4. Test each motor by connecting power and ground according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect battery power immediately.





5. If the slide motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace it Front Seat Frame Replacement - Driver's Seat.

NOTE: If the front up-down motor, the rear up-down motor, or the recline motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace the seat frame assembly Front Seat Frame Replacement - Driver's Seat.
