Tailgate Latch Switch Test

1. Open the tailgate.

2. Remove the tailgate lower trim panel .

3. Disconnect the 4P connector (A) from the tailgate latch (B).






4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each condition according to the table.






5. If the continuity is not as specified, the tailgate latch switch is faulty; replace the tailgate latch Service and Repair.
