Front Passenger's Power Seat Motor Test

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

Front Passenger's Seat

1. Remove the front passenger's seat Front Seat Removal / Installation.

2. Disconnect the 2P or 5P connector from each power seat motor.

NOTE: All connector views are terminal side of male terminals.










3. Test the motor by applying battery power and ground to the terminals according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect battery power immediately.

Recline motor





4. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace the motor:

- Recline motor Front Seat Frame Replacement - Passenger's Seat

NOTE: If the recline motor is faulty, replace the seat frame assembly.
