Front Seat Cushion Cover/Pad Replacement

NOTE:
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal / Installation.
2. Remove the screw. Release the hooks (A) and the tab (B), then remove the front cover (C).
NOTE: The driver's seat is shown; the passenger's seat is similar.
3. Driver's seat: Remove the recline cover (A).
1. Remove the screw and release the tabs (B).
2. Pull up the cover, then release the hooks (C).
3. Disconnect the power seat adjustment switch connector (D), and the lumbar support switch connector (E).

4. Passenger's seat: Remove the recline cover (A).
1. Remove the screw and release the tabs (B).
2. Pull up the cover, then release the hooks (C).
3. Disconnect the power seat adjustment switch connector (D).
Passenger's seat
5. Driver's seat: Remove the center cover (A).
1. Remove the screw.
2. Release the tabs (B).
3. Gently pull up the cover, then release the tab (C).
6. Passenger's seat: Remove the center cover (A).
1. Release the tabs (B).
2. Gently pull up the cover, then release the tab (C).
7. Remove the seat belt buckle.
8. Driver's seat: Disconnect power seat control unit connectors A and B, and remove the screws, then remove the power seat control unit (C).
9. From under the seat cushion, release the hook strips (A) from the seat cushion frame (B).
NOTE: The passenger's seat is shown; the driver's seat is similar.
10. From under the seat cushion, release the elastic strap (A) from the seat cushion frame spring (B).

11. From under the seat cushion, detach the harness clip (A), and disconnect the seat cushion heater connector (B). Detach the connector clip, and pull it to outside of the seat. Release the hook strip (C) from the seat cushion frame.

12. Release the Velcro fasteners (A), then pull back the harness holder covers (B) fastening the side airbag harness (C) and the seat wire harness (D).
13. Release the hook strips (A) from both sides of the seat cushion frame.

14. Remove the seat cushion cover/pad (A) from the seat frame (B).
NOTE: The driver's seat is shown, the passenger's seat is similar.
15. Release the hooks (A) from under the seat cushion, pull back the edge of the seat cushion cover all the way around, and release the clips (B), then remove the seat cushion cover (C).
16. Install the cover/pad in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- To prevent wrinkles when installing a seat cushion cover, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the pad before securing the clips, the hooks, and the hook strips.
- Replace any clips (A) you removed with new ones.
- Use only original Acura replacement seat cushion covers.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
