ECT Sensor 1 Replacement
1. Drain the engine coolant Service and Repair.
2. Remove the air cleaner Service and Repair.
3. Remove the charge air cooler.
4. Remove the ignition coil cover (A) and bolt (B).
5. Disconnect the ignition coil connectors (C), CMP sensor A connector (D), CMP sensor B connector (E), and the EVAP canister purge valve connector (F).
6. Remove the harness holder (G).
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the ECT sensor 1 harness.
7. Disconnect the ECT sensor 1 connector (A).
8. Remove ECT sensor 1 (B).
9. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new O-ring (C).
10. Refill the radiator with engine coolant Service and Repair.
