DISTRIBUTOR

INTEGRA

1. Disconnect the 2-P and 3-P connectors from distributor.
2. Disconnect spark plug wires from distributor cap, marking positions of wires to ease reinstallation.
3. Remove distributor hold-down bolts, then remove distributor from cylinder head.
4. Coat new O-ring with oil and install, then slip distributor into position. Lugs on the end of distributor and its mating grooves in the camshaft end are both offset to eliminate the possibility of installing distributor 180° out of time.
5. Install hold-down bolts and temporarily tighten, then connect the 2-P and 6-P connectors and the spark plug wires to the distributor.
6. Set ignition timing, then permanently torque hold-down bolts to 16 ft. lbs.




IGNITION COIL

INTEGRA

1. With ignition switch OFF, remove distributor cap, cap seal, then the leak cover.
2. Disconnect the black/yellow and the white/blue wires from terminals A and B by removing the two screws.
3. Remove the four coil retaining screws, then slide the ignition coil out of the distributor housing.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
