Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the air intake tube from the Air Cleaner housing.
2. Release the clips holding the Air Cleaner housing halves together.
3. Separate the two Air Cleaner housing halves and remove the air filter element.
4. Install the air filter element to the upper half of the Air Cleaner housing.

NOTE: Most air filter elements are flow directional. Be sure air filter element is faceing the proper direction before installing. In Most cases the Air Cleaner housings will not fit together properly if element is in wrong. Do not force Air Cleaner housing halves together.

5. Install the upper housing onto the lower housing and reinstall the retaining clips.
6. Reinstall the air intake tube and it's clamp.
