Intermittent Failures

The PGM-FI warning lamp and ECU LED may illuminate, indicating a system problem, when in fact there is a poor or intermittent electrical connection. Check all electrical connections and clean or repair as necessary, then see if the warning lamp or LED goes out. If lamp or LED go out, the problem was probably caused by this intermittent or poor connection.
