Vertical Scratches On Door Glass

PROBLEM

The fiber pads on the inside of the door molding are becoming contaminated with dirt and other gritty-type particles. This contamination results in a breakdown of the fibers' composition, and allows the window to make contact with the metal clips also located on the inside of the molding.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the scratched door glass and install a new, redesigned glass molding as listed under PARTS INFORMATION. See the service manual for door glass and molding replacement procedures.
