Voltage is provided at all times from fuse 33 to the combination light switch and the daytime running lights relay. With the ignition switch in RUN, voltage is provided to the daytime running lights relay from fuse 17.


High Beam Operation


With the headlight switch OFF and the ignition switch in RUN, voltage is provided to the high beams through the daytime running lights resistors and the daytime running lights relay. The high beams go on at reduced intensity. With the headlight switch in HEAD, voltage is provided to the daytime running lights relay through the RED wire. This input de-energizes the daytime running lights relay. The operation of the high beams is then controlled directly through the dimmer/passing switch.
