Trunk Lamp: Description and Operation

Voltage is applied at all times through fuse 14 to the trunk/cargo area light. With the ignition switch in RUN, voltage is applied through fuse 23 to the trunk lid/batch open indicator light. When the trunk (hatch) is opened, the trunk (hatch) latch switch closes and grounds the trunk/cargo area light and trunk lid/hatch open indicator light; the lights go on.
