Belt Pretensioner

With the ignition switch in RUN or START, battery voltage is applied through fuse 13 to the tension reducer solenoids in each front seat. When either the driver's or front passenger's seat belt is buckled, the solenoids are energized. This loosens each belt slightly to reduce tension and make the driver and passenger more comfortable.
