Seats: Description and Operation

Power is provided at all times through fuse 27 and fuse 31 to the driver's power seat switch. The seat switch is grounded through G402.


Recline Operation


When you move the recline switch backward, power is supplied to the recline motor through the driver's power seat switch. The recline motor is grounded through the backward switch. The motor will run until the switch is released or the seat reaches the fully reclined position.


The forward operation of the recline switch is similar, with power and ground being applied in opposite directions, causing the seat back to tilt forward.


Slide Operation


Slide motor operation is similar to the recline operation.
