Heated Seats

Driver's Seat Operation
Voltage is applied at all times to the contacts of the driver's seat heater main relay through fuse 22.

When the ignition is switched to ON (II), voltage is applied through fuse 8 to the driver's seat heater switch. When you turn on the driver's seat heater switch, voltage is provided to the coil of the driver's seat heater relay and to the indicator light; the indicator light comes ON and the relay is energized. With the main relay energized, voltage is provided to the coils and contacts of the driver's seat heater relay. When thermostat 1 is closed (temperature below 40°C), the driver's seat heater relay is energized, providing power to the driver's heated seat cushion and driver's heated seat back through circuit breakers 1 and 2.

The two circuit breakers and the thermostat open to control the amount of heat given off by the seats.

Passenger's Seat Operation
The passenger's seat heater works the same way as the driver's seat heater.
