DTC P1279 Reading on HDS or PGM Tester Is Bogus

Unless you're troubleshooting a '97 or later NSX, if you're reading a DTC P1279 (VTFC pressure switch/solenoid problem) on the display screen of the HDS or the PGM Tester, it's a bogus DTC. Refer to DTC P1259 (VTFC system malfunction) in the appropriate S/M, and troubleshoot accordingly. (Online, enter keyword P1259, and select DTC Troubleshooting: P1259 (22)... from the list.)
