Driver's Seat-Back Piping Wears Prematurely

PROBLEM





The piping on the left side of the driver's seat-back bolster wears prematurely.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Remove the seat-back cover, and replace the piping with the correct color piping listed under PARTS INFORMATION.

To replace the piping, you need special upholstery tools and experience in upholstery repair. If you do not have the tools and experience, you can still remove and reinstall the seat-back cover, but sublet the piping replacement to a qualified upholstery shop.

For removal and installation of the seat-back cover, refer to page 20-76 of the 1995-96 2.5TL Service Manual.
