Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 4-9: ABS Down Diagnosis





The TCS indicator light comes on when the vehicle is stopped, the engine is running, and the signals from all four wheels are disconnected for more than 5 seconds.

NOTE: When the TCS indicator light does not come on but DTC 4-9 is memorized, the cause may be that the vehicle was driven with the ABS B2 (15 A) fuse removed or the DTC was not erased after troubleshooting the ABS. Test-drive the vehicle again, and check whether the indicator light comes on. If the indicator light does not come on, the system is OK. Erase the DTC.
