REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. To protect the paint, apply a strip of masking tape (at least 1-inch wide) to both A-pillars along the edge of the molding.

2. Using an O-ring pick or similar tool, pull the molding away from the A-pillar. Apply 3M Super Silicone Sealant (see REQUIRED MATERIALS) under the rubber molding along the full length of the A-pillar

3. Press the molding against the A-pillar with your fingers to smooth it out and make sure it sits flush.

4. Allow the sealant to set for about 5 minutes. Remove the masking tape, and clean up any excess silicone with 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner.

5. Repeat steps 2 thru 4 on the other A-pillar.
