Lighting and Horns: Description and Operation

Voltage is applied through fuse 57 to the ceiling lights, door courtesy lights, the ignition key light and (for 99 - 00 models) the vanity mirror lights at all times.
The driver's multiplex control unit, door multiplex control unit, and the passenger's multiplex control unit work together to control the entry lights.
The passenger's multiplex control unit is connected to the front passenger 5 door switch through the GRN/RED wire and to the right rear door switch through the GRN/ORN wire. The door multiplex control unit is connected to the driver's door switch through the GRN/BLU wire. The driver's multiplex control unit is connected to the front driver's door switch through the GRN/YEL wire and to the ignition key switch through the BLU/WHT wire. The driver's multiplex unit communicates with the passenger's multiplex unit through the wake-up line, A-D line, and the D-A line. The driver's multiplex unit checks the position of the driver's door switch through the door multiplex control unit and the BRN/YEL wire.
The passenger's multiplex control unit controls the courtesy lights and the ceiling lights. The driver's multiplex control unit controls the ignition key light.
