Pulsers/Wheel Speed Sensor Inspection

- Check the front and rear pulser for chipped or damaged teeth.
- Measure the air gap between the wheel sensor and the pulser all the way around while rotating the hub bearing unit by hand.

Specs:
Standard Gap 0.4 - 1.0 mm (0.02 - 0.04 inch)
Resistance
Front: 700 - 1,000 ohms
Rear: 1,400 - 2,000 ohms

NOTE: If the gap exceeds 1.0 mm (0.04 inch), the probability is a distorted knuckle which should be replaced.
