PARTS INFORMATION

Nose Mask Hood Section: P/N 08P35-SZ3-200

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Look at the attachment straps on the hood section of the nose mask.

^ If the hood section has four straps, the new part has already been installed. Check it for damage (broken or loose, stretched straps). If it is OK, adjust it as necessary for proper installation, and return the vehicle to the customer.

^ If the hood section is damaged or has only two straps, continue with step 2.

^ In either case, explain to the customer that the hood section may not stay flat in severe conditions, that is, when vehicle speed and wind speed and direction combine to create turbulence over the hood.

2. Remove and discard the hood section.

3. Install a new hood section (see PARTS INFORMATION) making sure it fits smoothly and lines up with the edge of the hood.

4. Remove the two insulator clips from the underside of the hood, and secure the four attachment strap "S" hooks in the holes.

NOTE:
Give the insulator clips to the customer; they need to be reinstalled if the nose mask is removed.

5. Insert the nose mask tabs between the hood and the grille as shown.
