Product Update Campaign: 3.5RL Power Windows

Dear 3.5RL Owner:

We are writing to notify you of a potential problem with your 3.5RL.

What is the problem?

Your power windows may not operate. One of the control units for the power windows may have a manufacturing defect.

What should you do?

Contact your local Acura dealer and make an appointment to have your car updated. They will replace the control unit on the driver's side, and inspect the control unit on the passenger's side to determine if its serial number is in the affected range. If it is, it will also be replaced. This update will be done free of charge. Please plan to leave your car at the dealership for at least half a day to allow them flexibility in scheduling

What to do if our information is incorrect.

This letter was mailed to you according to the most current ownership information we have available. If you no longer own this car, or some information in this notice is incorrect, please complete and return the included, postage-paid Information Change Card. We can then update our records.
