Security System

The security system is activated automatically 15 seconds after the hood, trunk, and all the doors have been closed and locked. The security indicator located on the driver's door panel will flash after the system is activated.

If any of the following conditions occur, the horns will sound and the headlights, side marker lights, parking lights and taillights will flash for about two minutes, or until the system is disarmed by unlocking either front door from the outside with the key.

^ Any door is opened forcibly.
^ Trunk lid is opened without using the key.
^ Hood is opened.
^ Battery terminal is removed or reconnected.
^ Engine starter circuit and battery circuit are bypassed by breaking the ignition switch.
^ Hood/trunk lid opener is operated.
