Key Cylinder Lamp: Description and Operation

Voltage is provided at all times to the ignition key light in the steering lock assembly through fuse 39 and to the integrated control unit through fuse 57. When you open the driver's door, the integrated control unit provides ground for the ignition key light. The light goes ON and stays ON for 10 seconds after the door is closed.
