Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, precautions, and procedures before performing repairs or service.

With navigation system:
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the frequencies for the radio's preset buttons.
2. Remove the navigation panel and audio panel assembly.
3. Remove the four mounting screws, then remove the navigation monitor.
4. Loosen the audio unit mounting screws.




5. Remove the pins from the bracket, then remove the navigation panel.




6. Remove the four screws, then remove the audio unit.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
8. After installing the audio unit, enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.

Without navigation system:
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the frequencies for the radio's preset buttons.




2. Remove the automatic climate control panel and audio panel assembly.
3. Remove the seven (or eight) mounting screws, then remove the audio unit.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
5. After installing the audio unit, enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.
