Opener and Latch

Removal

NOTE: Take care not to bend the opener cables.

Hood Release Handle:






NOTE: Remove the dashboard lower cover.

Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

NOTE:
- Make sure the opener cable is connected properly.
- Make sure the hood opens properly and locks securely.

Hood Latch:




Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.






NOTE:
- Make sure the opener cable is connected properly.
- Make sure the hood opens properly and locks securely.
- Grease each location of the hood latch indicated by the arrows.

Fuel fill door opener:




Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

NOTE:
- Make sure the opener cable is connected properly.
- Make sure the fuel fill door opens properly.

Fuel fill door latch:






NOTE: Remove the following parts.
- Rear trim panel
- Rear edge of the trunk side trim (left side)

Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

NOTE:
- Make sure each opener cable is connected properly.
- Make sure the fuel fill door opens properly and locks securely.

Trunk lid latch/Lock cylinder:






NOTE: Remove the trunk lid trim.

Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

NOTE:
- Grease the trunk latch.
- Make sure the trunk lid opens properly and locks securely.
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
