SYMPTOM

The moonroof motor continues to run when the moonroof is in its full open position.

PROBABLE CAUSE

The moonroof outer cable housing is deformed from forceful opening of the sunshade.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the moonroof cable assembly with the new cable assembly listed under PARTS INFORMATION.

DIAGNOSIS

Pull the moonroof OPEN/CLOSE switch back firmly until it clicks, then release it-this opens the moonroof to its full open position. If the moon roof motor continues to run after the moonroof is fully open, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.
