Backup Lamp Switch: Service and Repair

TEST





1. Disconnect the connectors.
2. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals.
- There should be continuity with the shift lever in reverse.
- There should be no continuity with the shift lever in any other position but reverse.
3. If necessary, replace the back-up light switch and washer.
