REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Remove the old front brake pads and shims.
2. Apply a thin, even coat of grease to the back side and ends of the new front brake pads and to both sides of the new shims. Be sure to grease the end of the caliper piston.
NOTE: Use the grease included in the brake pad set or Molykote 77 grease.
3. Install the new front brake pads and shims, making sure that the pad retainers are properly positioned in the caliper bracket and the wear indicator is on the inside of the caliper.
4. Repeat steps 1 thru 3 to replace the brake pads on the other front wheel.
5. Test-drive the vehicle at low speed, and apply the brakes to ensure that the noise and vibration are gone.
