SYMPTOM
A power window does not work.
PROBABLE CAUSE
*A broken window regulator.*
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace both window regulators.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Remove the door panel and plastic rain protector from the door with the affected window.
*2. Check for a broken window regulator.
^ If the regulator is broken, replace both the left and right window regulators (see page 20-5 of the 1997 2.2CL Service Manual or the 1998-99 2.3CL Service Manual).
^ If the regulator is not broken, continue with normal troubleshooting procedures.*
