Light Leaks From the Glove Box With the Headlights On
SYMPTOM
At night, when the headlights are turned on, you see light coming from the top of the glove box.
PROBABLE CAUSE
There is a gap between the glove box housing and the dashboard.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Secure the right-side glove box housing clip to the dashboard, then apply wool felt over the gap.
REQUIRED MATERIALS
Wool Felt: P/N 06993-SA5-000
(One roll of wool felt is enough to repair 10 vehicles.)

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Open the glove box door.
2. Secure the right-side glove box housing clip to the dashboard.
3. Cut a 150 x 10 mm piece of wool felt.
4. Apply the wool felt over the gap between the housing and the dashboard.
